It only comes around once every four years. Compared to the last three years and the next three years, 2016 includes a “free prize inside”. Today is a bonus day.

Although much of the world seems to be peddling a different narrative, our society celebrates life. We love life, and we live in a culture of life.

If you’ve ever had a family member in the ICU, you’ve seen first-hand how much effort and energy goes into keeping people alive. Doctors and nurses are there twenty-four hours a day. They’ve dedicated their lives to saving lives. With the clock always ticking, medical professionals are devoted to helping others wake up and get another chance at life.

With all of the time, money, and effort we’re willing to spend to add extra days onto our lives, isn’t it amazing how many people waste the days they already have?

The reality is every day is a gift, and what we do with each one is a choice. This year we’re fortunate to get an extra gift. What will you choose to do with yours?
